PACT: Helping Children with Special Needs serves young children with medical and developmental disabilities who need the assistance of skilled, experienced professionals during their most formative years in order to reach their full potential.
Each year, PACT makes a significant impact on the lives of young children with special needs and their families, including but not limited to children with Cerebral palsy, Heart and breathing problems, Autism spectrum disorders, communication disorders, Down syndrome, seizure disorders, Spina bifida, severe food allergies, Juvenile diabetes, feeding disorders, complications related to premature birth, sensory disorders and intellectual disabilities.
By offering a wide range of services ranging from specialized childcare to physical, occupational, and speech therapies to parent training and counseling, PACT is able to address the physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs of the children and provide support for their families. Our plan is to extend our reach and improve care for children and families throughout the state of Maryland by sharing our knowledge and expertise through training, research and community-based services.
PACT is located in the Windsor Mill section of Baltimore County, Maryland, and serves families from throughout the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. It is a private, non-profit organization, affiliated with Kennedy Krieger Institute.
